People are so troubled by spam calls but still there is no proper solution for it. Spam calls are made to pretend to send you some product, to give you credit card or for bank information or for tax or for lottery or to help you in some other way, in which you are told that we want to help you but they take your information, in the information they send you some kind of link and take OTP.

How to avoid spam calls

Be careful while answering calls from unknown numbers : Many times it happens that you get a call from an unknown number and the person on the call pretends to be a lottery or bank credit card person or anything else and tries to convince you that it is right for you and he will not cheat you in any way, but to avoid this you have to understand that call carefully, what he is saying, then you can also complain about the call and do not share any information with him.
Do not share your financial information with anyone : Many times it happens that he wants to know your bank details in which he says that I am calling from the bank, I have called for your help, for which he may ask for OTP from you for your convenience, sometimes it seems that the call is coming from my bank i.e. the bank in which you have an account, but it is not so, it is a fraud call which pretends that I am calling you from the bank or any other place, in this situation you should not give him any OTP or any other information, the RBI of the bank forbids you from sharing this information with anyone, if you make this mistake then you may suffer financial loss.
Be careful before making any kind of online payment : When you pay any amount of money to any person, whether the payment is online or by check, then the bank asks you to take some precautions. 1. By applying security or lock while making payment 2. Do not share your PIN with anyone 3. Do not click on fake links 4. Do not share your account details with anyone 5. Use a verified payment app. Do not share all this information with anyone on call. If anyone asks you for this information, then it is a spam call.
What to do when you receive an unknown call : Whenever you get an unknown call, it could also be a spam call. When you get a call from an unknown number, you have to be very careful. When you get a call, you should first see why this call has come. Is he making any demand from you or asking you to sell any product. If he is asking for any information which you do not feel right to share or is against the rules, then do not share such information with anyone. In such a case, cut the call immediately and give this information to the police or the bank. If he is asking for bank details, then block that number.
Keep your bank and credit card information safe : When you receive a spam call, it asks you for your bank details and OTP. In such a case, do not share your information with anyone. If you share your information with anyone, you may be defrauded.
Whenever you receive a call from a bank, you should give its details or information about fraud that has happened with you to the police and then if the information has been given on the number from which you have received the call, whether it is from a bank or not, then you will have to tell that to the police station.
