Setup Phase :-
So let us know what all setups have to be done on YouTube through which a YouTube partner gets payment.
1. Verify your identity :
YouTube verifies the identity of its participants when a YouTuber earns $10 in YouTube Studio or the equivalent of $10 in his currency. When you earn $10, a prompt for identity verification is shown in the Earn section of YouTube Studio. For identity verification, you will be asked for a government approved ID card through which your identity will be verified. When $10 is shown in your YouTube Studio, you have to verify within 45 days. For this, you also have to create a Google Adsense account. Then you also have to verify your address.
2. Verify your Address :
To verify the address first you have to create an account on Google Adsense which will be created using your mail address. You have given your address to this address. An envelope will be sent to your address by post, which will contain a 6 digit code from Google, which you will have to enter on Google Adsense. As soon as the code verification is done on Google, the play button will appear on this address. Also know that the code will depend on your location and may take 2 to 4 weeks to arrive. If the code takes longer to arrive, you can check your details. You can also order the code again. You can do this thrice. You have to complete the process of entering the code within 4 months, otherwise the process of entering the code is stopped.
3. Provide payment detail :
After you enter the 6 digit code, you will have to enter the payment details. These details also have to be entered in the Google Adsense account. In this, you will have to enter bank details or payment method. Along with the bank account details, you will also have to enter tax information on the Google Adsense account. To enter the bank details and tax details, you will have to go to the Google Adsense account. After going to the payment information, these details will have to be entered there.
Setup Phase :-
To receive YouTube payment, you first have to reach the threshold. The threshold is $10 in the US and it also depends on your location and currency. To receive payment, you have to add a bank account, which you must have done in Google Adsense. After going to the payment area for payment, you have to go to payment info, after that you can see three options in add payment method, first electronic fund transfer, second wire transfer, third check. You have to meet the criteria of $100 in all these three and after that, on 7th to 12th of every month, payment is added from YouTube Studio to Google Adsense. When your account reaches 21st to 26th, then Google Adsense is transferred to your account according to your payment. If you have not chosen the direct transfer method, then there may be a delay in receiving the payment. You can see your payment in the transaction on the studio.
The amount shown in YouTube Analytics and the amount you receive may be different. This is because YouTube also deducts tax on the payment, that is why the amount you see is less.
